Today I worshiped at TAG Namikupa Missions Center which is a church pastor Pastor Flora and I planted close to the border of Tanzania and Northern Mozambique. This is the only church located in this area. It is a beacon in an area of darkness.
I was able attend TAG leadership meetings in Dodoma that emphasized reaching the next generation for Christ. On the last day we were able to celebrate Bob Hoskins being in ministry for 80 years. He started ministering full time at the age of 7. He is an example of how God can use children at a young age.
I am back home after a month of travel. We saw God move in a mighty way in the outdoor children’s meetings and ministry trainings.

I have been very busy. The last couple of months I have been traveling almost full time. The last time I tried to post in here I was unable to access my webpage. In June I attended the National Tanzania Ag women’s conference then I traveled to Mwanza where I attended a friend’s church and ministered to the children during Sunday school then preached in the main service. Then we went to Musoma where we did a 5-day outdoor children’s meeting as well as a one-day children’s ministry seminar. Then we traveled to Moshi for my ministry partner Flora’s engagement, then we did a 3 day outdoor meeting at Rombo, then ministered on Sunday at my friend’s church in Rombo. We were able to return home for a few days before heading to Morogoro for ministry at the General Superintendent’s church. At Morogoro, we did a 3 day children’s ministry training, then we did a one day outdoor meeting. On Sunday we ministered in all three services.
I love spending Christmas in Tanzania. I miss my family in the US , but I love the slower pace here. Gift giving is not emphasized here. We go to church on Christmas Day then spend Christmas with friends or eat a meal with our church family. Parents will often try to get their kids something new to wear to church on Christmas Sunday. That is the most common gift here other than eating special food.
I plan to spend Christmas in Moshi Tanzania. I currently live in Mtwara, but I have a lot of close friends in Moshi, and it was the first place I lived in Tanzania so it feels like home. The weather is cooler as well. It is real hot and humid in Mtwara.
“We give thanks to God always for all of you, constantly mentioning you in our prayers.” 1 Thess 1:2
Happy Thanksgiving greetings from Tanzania. Thanks so much to everyone who makes it possible for me to live and minister here in Tanzania.. We are laborers together in Tanzania! Thanks for being part of my team!
